Social Media Content Creator
Employment Type: Part-Time, W-2 Employee
Location: In-Office — Downtown Salinas (Main Street)
Pay: $20 per hour
Schedule: Approximately 20–30 hours per week, with flexibility based on client needs
Mag One Media is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Content Creator to help manage and grow our clients’ social media channels. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely loves social media, understands short-form content, and enjoys capturing real moments for real brands.
This is an in-office position, with opportunities to attend local events and visit client locations to capture content.
What You’ll Do
- Create, capture, and manage social media content for client accounts
- Film and photograph content on location at events and places of business
- Edit short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and similar platforms
- Assist with content planning, scheduling, and organization
- Collaborate with our video production and marketing teams
- Stay current with social media trends, formats, and best practices
What We’re Looking For
- A strong interest in social media and content creation
- Understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok, and short-form video workflows
- Basic experience with Photoshop, Canva, or similar design tools
- Comfortable working on-site and in real-world environments
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently
- Flexible availability, including occasional events or off-site content capture
Experience Level: Entry-level to 1–3 years of experience (or equivalent hands-on experience)
Tools & Equipment
- Office iPhone provided for in-office work and events
- On-site computer provided
- Use of personal equipment is optional
- All created content and work products remain the property of Mag One Media
Compensation & Benefits
- $20 per hour, (based on experience)
- Part-time W-2 employment

Mag One Media is offering a hands-on Multimedia Creative Internship for an aspiring creative who wants real experience across video production, graphic design, and digital media. This role is ideal for a student or emerging creative who’s curious, motivated, and excited to learn how professional creative projects come together.
This internship is built around learning by doing — real projects, real mentorship, and real creative growth.
What You’ll Do
As a Multimedia Creative Intern, you’ll work alongside our video, marketing, and design teams, gaining exposure to multiple creative disciplines. Your role may include:
- Assisting with video production (on set, lighting, behind-the-scenes support)
- Supporting photography and lighting setups
- Creating digital graphics such as flyers, social media assets, annual reports, and basic branding elements
- Assisting with logo concepts and layout design
- Supporting social media content creation and planning
- Helping prepare creative assets for client projects and internal marketing
You’ll be encouraged to explore your strengths while learning new skills along the way.
